Kanye West’s Lawyers Go to Extreme Measures to Get His Attention

Kanye West’s legal team is attempting to reach him by any means necessary.

The soon-to-be-former lawyers that previously represented the Donda rapper are reportedly taking their own steps to break up with the star, by planning to have newspaper advertisements published to tell him that they no longer wish to represent him.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP claims there’s been “a breakdown in communication” with the music producer. Apparently, the mobile phone number they had for him has been disconnected, making it difficult to convey information to him personally.

As an alternative means to contacting West directly, the lawyers are now seeking to take out adverts in two Los Angeles-based news publications, hoping to have the court order allowing them to withdraw from his case plastered on the—very noticeable—front page for all to see.

The Yeezy designer, who now officially simply goes by Ye, has been particularly absent from his once-rampant social media activity, prompting previous reports of him “going missing”—which many had assumed was by his own will—to send the media into a tizzy.

However, the “Jesus Is King” artist recently hit the streets of LA with Bianca Censori, an architectural designer employed by his brand, that he allegedly married in a private ceremony on Jan. 12, per Parade‘s previous report, obviously putting all the “missing” speculation to rest.
